someone who is good at the economy please help my family is dying
Curiosity is the mother of invention…that’s what I tell myself every time I add a weird food to my cart and pay for it with American money. If I don’t talk about it, who will? Oh, the thousands of other food bloggers? Oh…
Soon Kimchi Ramen
$2.49 – Brooklyn, NY
Have I not mentioned my favorite cup ramen before?? This has all the saltfatacidheat you’re looking for, and a slight pickled flavor from the kimchi. It’s not as insanely high in sodium as a lot of ramens, or inedibly spicy like the oh so popular Buldak. I’m consistently buying out the only two cups in stock at this store, so I think I might be carrying the Soon Kimchi Ramen industry on my back. I accept this responsibility🫡
Heinz Pickle Ketchup
$5.29 – Target, Manhattan, NY
I feel like I don’t love tomatoes enough to claim the title of tomato girl summer, but I’ll happily claim pickle girl summer/fall/winter/spring. A lot of new pickle flavored stuff is being released, but I can barely find any of it! I was excited to find this, even though I could kind of picture what this would taste like already. You’ll be shocked to hear that this tastes like…ketchup with pickling spices. Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same…10/10.
Buffalo Wing Cheez-Its
$7.69 – Target, Manhattan, NY
Cheez-Its have some new stuff going on lately – this flavor, as well as a ranch and an extra crispy, I think. I’ve talked about Extra Toasty before, as one of the best flavors, but every Cheez-It is pretty good. These certainly do taste like a mix of dried buffalo sauce and chicken bouillon powder, with that dusty feeling like the white cheddar flavor. Idea: crush them up and use as a fried chicken coating Y/N?
Torres Fried Egg & Caviar Potato Chips
$4.89 – Brooklyn, NY
The sick minds at Torres flew a little too close to the sun with these flavors. It’s really a *dead dove do not eat* kind of situation – I don’t know what I expected. Why wouldn’t a bag of egg chips smell and taste like sulfur? Why wouldn’t the caviar chips be fishy? I can’t say that either are bad. They’re just weird. Like, yeah I guess that is what a fried egg tastes like, but I don’t want to think about it like that. The caviar chips are a little more normal, because they remind me of seaweed chips. Most of the other Torres chip flavors seem a lot more appetizing, so it’s probably my fault for reaching for these lil freaks instead of jamon.

do you think you could eat 3lbs of pickles in 3 minutes??
can’t imagine how swollen you’d be after that much sodium but i respect the grind
